Aloha Hawaii~

As I wil go to Hawaii, I searched for hawaii. The more learn about Hawaii, the more I like hawaii. So, when I become old, if I have a chance, I want to emigrate to Hawaii to enjoy my happy retirement~

 

Hawaii is the 50th state of US, and often called Aloha state and the paradise of Pacific. Hawaii is known for their beautiful nature, and it is in the spotlight as a honeymoon destination these days.

 

There are many delicious foods and many kinds of fruit. I love fruits, so I really want to taste them!

 

And also, people who go to Hawaii before say Hawaii people are very kind.

 

The beautiful sights, delicious foods, kind people, warm climate.... there look like perfect!

However, there are only one drawback. As Hawaii is one of the most popular vacation spots internationally, their prices are very high!

But if I earn huge huge amount of money in my youth, I can live in Hawaii!! Then, I'ii think about how can I make a lot of money!

The Twilight Divorce Syndrome

 In these days, Korea society is showing the serious level of the twilight divorce :elderly couples’ divorce as high percentage of total divorce. It is not too much to say that is the twilight divorce syndrome.

 

 According to statistical data in 2010, rate of divorce couple lived with more than 2 decades was 27.3%, which is increase 4times from 8.5% in 1990. Moreover, this figure is higher than divorce rate for couple who lived together within 4years.

 

 In my opinion, this highly divorce rate comes from long life span and desire for trying to find their own life in their middle age. Actually, many women who are spending unhappy marital life refrain to get divorce because their children. However, after their children grow up and leave, there are still long life times for women. So, they want to live their own life, and leave her husband. This is a main cause of the twilight divorce.

 

 

Korea's Image for Foreginers

 When foreigners think about Korea, what’s the images in their mind first? May be it is ‘dangerous’, and Korea’s images are positive. As Korea is only one country which is dividend around the world, and war is not over yet, their thought is might be some logical idea. People who don’t know about Korea well think that people tend to be attacked in Korea while walking around street.

 

 However, image of Korea has been shifting. One of the most main energy of this change is korean sport stars. Today, many famous Korean sport player doing well in their own field. There are Ji-sung Park, Doo-ri Cha, Sung-yong Gi, the Korean soccer players playing other countries, and Yu-na Kim who is Figure Queen in the world. Many foreign Fans of them will love their countries as well as a player. Also, when people see that Korean player make a good result in media, they will re-think about Korea and change their mind to more positive than before.

For them, Korea is nation where their star live in not just a small country during the war.

 

 Therefore, to improve Korea’s images supporting of government and association is required.

What Is Unique about Korea?

Today, because of its convenience, E-commerce has been very spreading generally in the world. Among others, Korea has the high popularity of E-commerce. What factor made koreans to do online shopping often?

 

The first reason is that koreans have an accessibility of the internet. As we know, korea is an IT powerhouse with the highest Internet access rate. Almost every koreans have computer with the speedy internet in their house. They spend a long time to surfing internet, and it make koreans contact to online shops more often and longer time, finally, it lead many people to buy things on the internet.

 

the second, It because of the size of the Koreans’ territory. Korea has a small territory when compare to other countries. So, It dosen’t take a long time to delivery products from one end of Korea to the other. Thanks to its short distance, The shops enable to offer the fast delivery service for people who order the things on the internet, and that can make the customers feel more satisfaction.

 

 

What Is Your Favorite Comic Book?

Do you like to read the books? I really love it.  Actally I like Comic book more. (But I’m not a Otaku!!)

Among many books I read before one of the best is ‘SLAM DUNK’!! Oh! It is the best comic book in the would!!

I want to introduce about them~~

The story is about some boys who try hard what they really want. There are five boy who is rookie basket player and his team members. They go through many hardships to enter the national championship. But they didn’t give up and try hard.

 The reason it is my best is because they gave me not only joyful but also deep lesson in my life-never give up- When I was a high school student, I got pressured everything. I have to raise test score and draw picture better than other student, and so on...... Everything was exhausting me.  Meanwhile I read it by chance. Reading them, my heart was touched by the way they overcome to hard things. Under no circumstances, They never never give up. I had never felt such a strong touchingness before. It made me look at myself and gave a new strength!  What a nice book it is!!

   

 

 Since then, I fell in love Slam dunk. I bought all series and read it in my spare time. When I was sophomore I even made work about Slam dunk!  Look at this picture.

This is a main character's basketball shoes. The one is old and other is new.

I wanted to express their passion by using shoes.

 Can you feel my love for Slam dunk?? haha

 You might think comic books are only for children. But,  ‘Slam dunk’ can have a good effect on also adult.

Difference Is Nothing

 All the people have many things. some of things are gained by his effort but the others are just given by birth. Sometimes some people who have some characteristic people don’t prefer are confiscated their opportunity.

 In our competitive society, different distribution depending on person’s ability is necessary. People who want strong reward will work harder than others. However Discriminate against someone based on what someone can’t change to work hard is unfair. People can’t select their skin colors, gender, country, and so on. These things are unaltered even though someone really want to change that.

 In my opinion, discrimination comes to peoples’ wrong idea –the difference is wrong and bad- People tend to judge what different from them is not right. This idea is obviously wrong and so dangerous(think about Hitler!) Difference is just difference. We should have to admit the difference from other people. And try to look not outward appearance of them but their inner side.

What Will Happen After North Korea's Collapse?

 The one article that I read a few days ago, contain the distrust of North Korean government. The someone in North drew graffiti criticizing Kim-JungII on the wall of Pyongyang train college. A person wrote that “Kim-JungIl and Park-Junghi is dictator. Park-Junghi is a dictator who revived the economy, and Kim-JungIl is a dictator who make people starve to death.”

 

 This case shows that North Koreans are beginning to realize what happened in their country. They know that their government have been telling a lie. The North Koreans also know the South Koreans' level of living is much better than North one, and North Korea was not a paradise.

 

These days besides this happening  we can often contacts the signs showing the possibility to collapse of the North Korea without difficulty. The day of North Korea’s collapse is become so close.

 

 However, the one bad news is the collapse of North Korea doesn’t mean directly the reunification of Korea. There are many countries that keeping their eyes on united Korea and want to take advantage of North Korea. They will try to strengthen their position within the North Korea.

In this situation, how can we do to achieve the Korea's complete reunification?

They Want Their Child's Success

My internet gaming story is go back to decade ago. When I was young(I guess may be I was 10 or 11 years old), my older brother recommended the online game ‘Baram-ui-nara(The Kingdom of the Wind)’. Soon I fell into that game, and my brother and I played that game many times a day.

 

Like many of the role playing games, making playing character is required to play that game. I made my characters and gave their names, selected their appearance. When It was a long time ago, there are a few things l can choose about their appearance. I could choose only their genders and hair styles. Compared to the recent games, it was very simple. However, for me, choosing them is not simple. I decided it very carefully, because that characters is mine and represent me.

 

As many addicts did, I also used to spend a lot of time on playing the internet games in front of the computer. Sometimes I stay all-night-stand with playing that game, and it made me can’t do something I have to do. However being older, I became stopped to playing games naturally because my real life became so busy. Now, I don’t play the internet games and don’t have interested in any more. But the Baran-ui-nara had been with my young age, I have a good memories of them.

 

Then, I thought about why people are addicted to the internet games. In my opinion, the Avata has been appealing to people. As I said above, Avata is represent oneself, and people feel like that avata is my pets or children. Players will be proud of themselves, when their avata reach to a high levels. I think It seems to similar to relations between parents and child. They hope  their child(Avata) succeed. For players, they want their avatas get a high goals so they play a long time to make it.

The reunification of North and South Korea

 Korea is the only divided nation in the world. In these days, people have a diverse idea of the reunification issue.

 

 In my opinion, We must to reunify as soon as possible.

The most important reason is that we are originally ‘the one’. We belong to the same race as we share the same blood and speak the same language. The separated families are missing their family. So we have to change this abnormal situation to originally.

 

 Exccept of these moral reason, Ther are many reasons we have to focus on.

There are many economic advantage . The north korea hasn’t been made a lot of development. There are many Natural resources we can take beneath the ground.

 

 The South Korea is a peninsula that is surrounded by the three-side-sea but we can’t use peninsula’s advantage cause we are blocked of the border. If the barrier vanishes, Ground transportation with the continent is available, then we can get a huge economical cost.

There is the reason the powerful nations like China, japan, USA, are focusing and keeping on korea’s reunification issue.

  In addition, Through the co-effort with North Korea, We can set up our broken history and tradition.

 

 On the other hand, There is also a negative side

Today, Much time has passed since division. There are many difference between the North Koreans and the South koreans. Economic level, cultures, living conditon, Political Thought, even speaking tone.

  To narrow these gap between north and south need long time-Decades or more- and enormous ‘reunification costs’.

 

We can’t expect concretely the many situations will be changed. Koreans worry about the huge cost that we will has to pay and have a vague fear from the difference.

 In terms of long sight, there is not just demage. we will get a more benefits.

At the expense of these current damages, Reunification is what we must be done

As time goes by, It will become more difficult.

The global warming

Korean people worrid about global warming.

But, they have ever had a direct attack cause by global warming, they don’t want to know how serious is it and do something. 

The one thing that I can sure is that if people don’t do anything to solve global warming,this problem will be getting worse. 

The best way to cure the sick earth is  just doing  what we know but don't do. 

There are many things we can do -to reduce using the air conditioner, automoiles, and any other things.  

Some people might be think that seems too small to make a change something big problems. 

Of couse it is small, however, Think about 'The butterfly effect' -small changing can be a huge changes.- 

You can do several things, and can tell other, and make them do that. 

We know why comes global warming, and what should we do already

Then now, Let's start!

 

Why many people in korea commit suicide?

In my opinion, The most main reason about suicide is 'the mental weakness'.
Though people face to the same hard situlation, they will react differently. How react is depend on their mental power. When people who have a weak mental power is faced to difficult problems, they will abandon more easily than others.
The cause of these mental weakness is Koreans wrong idea : they want the only one in the top!
As Korean people are taugh that idea, they think 'not first class' is worth nothing.
So, people who work very hard, but can't be a top are frustrated very mush, and they will give up easily thinking that, 'I'm a loser. Ican't do anything......'

In order to change that widespreading wrong thinking, Making good education environment is most important. Young people are taught that every thing has their value, and if there is 'first', there must be the second, thire,......, and so on.
Then, Government has to bench-market other countries good case, and apply to Korean education.

Changeing people's mind is very hard, and it will take a long time.But, To avoid problem cause it is difficult, we can't be better.

The sign buildings

The sign buildings In seoul, The building is plastered a number of the signboards. Because of their too intensive colors, huge size of letters, and other many things,  people don't feel it's looks good. However, Now, Seoul's scenery have been changed! You may be heard about 'The business of design Seoul '. Do you know about that? I'll introduce it. It's the policy that  made Seoul to the place where people want to visit and live in the most. The plans : setting 'Design streets of Seoul' is one of their works. Trough the 'total design' of  Public structure and the signboards, they expect to be harmony in Seoul's streets. The guideline of that plan is to avoid intensive colors and too complicated shapes, choose consistant designs, and so on. many public structures have been changed to following them. Look at that pictures, (left one is before, and right one is after)     what do you think about it? Do you think many things are changed?For me, It seems to be more nice to look.Of couse, These change is Not only Seoul, But also many other cities.Seoul's streets had a lot of 'sign building' in a few years ago, Now, many of them was replaced and it's still on going.Therefore, In the near future, I guess, they will be no eyesores in Seoul. On the other hand, In advertisment, It is different matter.The purpose of the advertisment  is to promote.It must can be eye-catching and in order to that, they have to be unique!So, In my opinion, regulating advertisment is paradoxical!It is obvious that they are one of the main cause of hurting urban landscape, but how can we control advertisment?I thought it, but I have no idea to regulate them...... I want to know others oppinion.

Fading Work Ehtic

When compared people's  minds about work in the past with in this generation, Some people might feel there are many different things. Of couse, there are some changed, however, the main idea is the same. That is they want to 'the better life'!

People work hard and earn the money to get a better life style. In a few decades ago, Korea's walfare was terrible. Korean people always felt hungry, couldn't have a safe house, and so on.  For that people,The better life means they can eat, live, wear. They worked very very hard to solve that problems

 However, In this time, As Korean's economic status become better than in the past, Koreans can meet the  human's basic needs.   We don't have to worry about how we can eat, live, wear any more. Now, People want to meet the high level of needs.

 So, The meaning of 'the better life' is different in the past. The value was changed. people want to enjoy their life.They want to do what they are interested in. In that reason, people want to have a more extra time for themselves than earn the money.

I don't think these changes of work ethic mean people become lazy. We still work very hard, and alway spend a busy times for our 'better life'. It's just change of the value that people want to pursue.

My opinion about the prirated goods

In the market, we can see many goods that are pirated. It is obvious stealing behavior.
I'm studing design in University. So I know how difficult think the new ideas.  Duplication is easy, but think new thing is very difficult. It may be more difficult than you think.
Pirating is obvious stealing behavior. It hurt designers' copyright. This behavior that copy others' design will make people who designed original product knock down, and there are possible that they give up think creative things. If these steal behavior is continue, many people who design a new and creative idea in the past don't want to think the new ideas. They maybe want to copy others, too! This is a very big problem!!!
Government have to establish strong regulation.
Also,It is important to keep in mind that copy is crime.

On the oter hand, Anytime, there is the trend and fad. One thing lead trend, many others follw them. Copy is illegal, but I think follow fad is okay. however, Standard that distinguish betweed copy and follw trend is subjective, It is hard to say.

 Actually, I haven't behaviored perfect fit from my opinion. My consumption pattern is different depend on type of products.
 In case about chandlery like bags, wallet, and so on, I don't buy the copycat goods.
Some people who want to have luxury brand product but have no money use to buy imitation.
Also I want to have a luxury brand product, because it is well-made, looks nice.
 However, That products are  expensive, and I don't have enough money to buy it. so I can't buy that products. But I don't want to buy imitation. I think that would  better purchase little low level brand than purchase imitation.

In case of contents like music, movie,comic books, I Usually download it free, but sometimes pay fee.
However, The contents that I like very much, I buy it.
